The isomorphism problem for tensor algebras of multivariable dynamical systems

Abstract We resolve the isomorphism problem for tensor algebras of unital multivariable dynamical systems. Specifically, we show that unitary equivalence after a conjugation systems is complete invariant isometric isomorphisms between their algebras. In particular, this settles conjecture Davidson and Kakariadis, Inter. Math. Res. Not. 2014 (2014), 1289–1311 relating to work Arveson, Acta 118 (1967), 95–109 from 1960s, extends related Kakariadis Katsoulis, J. Noncommut. Geom. 8 771–787.

The Isomorphism Problem for Universal Enveloping Algebras of Lie Algebras
Let L be a Lie algebra with universal enveloping algebra U(L). We prove that if H is another Lie algebra with the property that U(L) ∼= U(H) then certain invariants of L are inherited by H.
